The presentations of sailing and motor regattas were held at the Crocus Expo

One of the most impressive events of the Business program - the presentation of sailing and motor regatta and race- were held within the frames of the First International Specialized exhibition Moscow Boat Show - 2008 February 11, 2008 at the International Exhibition Centre Crocus Expo.

Massimo Kiodo, the President of the Astra Marinas Group, the Organizer of St. Petersburg Yacht Festival, Olga Shishenina, the Director of the Baltic Boat Show, Andrey Radzievsky, the Head of the project Aquatoria the Luxury Life Style Show, Alexander Smirnov, the owner of the company Staroye Vremia (Old Time), the Organizer of the Fifth International Rally of Classical Automobiles Zolotyie Kupola (Golden Domes), Serguei Akulenko, the Director General OOO Marine Complex, the Organizer of the Palace Cruise, Vladimir Arbuzov, the Head of the project VOLVO OCEAN RACE 2008-2009, honoured coach of the Russian Federation, master of sports of International class, participated in the event.

The principal target of the event was to present various events and programs for the fans of outdoor activity both on water and overland:

• St. Petersburg Yacht Festival;
• Baltic Boat Show;
• International Rally of Classical Automobiles Zolotyie Kupola (Golden Domes);
• the Largest Round the World Regatta VOLVO OCEAN RACE 2008-2009;
• Palace Cruise.

Massimo Kiodo invited all to participate in the events related to sailing sports and underlined that “the events similar to the exhibition Moscow Boat Show and sailing regattas contribute to the formation of healthy and active style of life cult and to the promotion of the country and the city image in the global arena”.
