Boat Yard – a new exhibitor at Moscow Boat Show

Let us introduce the new exhibitor at Moscow Boat Show–Boat Yard.

For heavy work on the water, hardworking boats are needed. They must be strong, safe and reliable even in the harshest conditions. In shallow water or at the sea, on calm water and in a fierce storm, professional sailors need to do their job as good as possible, wherein not losing a sense of confidence. These are the reasons why we are building Boat Yard boats.

Boat Yard is a boat made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). We design boats of different configurations. Choose the one that suits you best: with a deckhouse or an open console, with an inboard or outboard diesel or gasoline engine, from 4 up to 12 meters long. Boat Yard is a reliable assistant in finding solutions for you.

High-density polyethylene has high tensile strength and strong intermolecular bonds that makes it resistant to high and low temperatures, various oils and chemicals and it also does not let in moisture.
In the manufacture of boats, “Company Diesel” uses Russian-made HDPE, which is in no way inferior in quality comparing to the foreign analogs. In general, the material is widely known for several important for the boat advantages:

• Unsinkability. The HDPE material itself has a positive buoyancy. The density of HDPE is 960 kg/m3, less than the density of water;
• Long service life. According to the manufacturer, the service life of the material is more than 50 years;
• Buoyancy. All internal cavities of the boat are filled with polyethylene balls to ensure positive buoyancy in an emergency;
• The hull is not subject to fouling, which means that it does not lose its sea-going qualities;
• Polyethylene does not corrode, does not require anode protection of the hull, regular painting and other maintenance costs;
• The material has low thermal conductivity;
• Extreme strength. HDPE is not afraid of bumps on sharp rocks and thick ice, mooring to unequipped piers, other boats overrun;
• Dampens the blows on the waves. The model range of boats with a wedge-shaped bottom better dampens impacts on waves than similar models made of fiberglass or aluminum;
• It is not affected by solutions of salts, alkalis and even concentrated sulfuric acid;
• The material is UV-resistant;
• HDPE withstands ambient temperatures up to -50 °C.

All boat models in Standard configuration have the internal cavities of the hull filled with buoyancy balls made of polyethylene and anti-slip deck. Each of our vessels meets the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union 026 / 2012 On the Safety of Small Vessels.
